Stress, Burnout & Nervous System Regulation

When your system has been running on empty

Who this is for

This support may be helpful if you are:

  • Feeling chronically stressed, exhausted, or overwhelmed

  • Recovering from burnout or prolonged periods of busyness

  • Struggling to rest, switch off, or feel restored by time off

  • Wanting gentle support without pressure to push or perform

  •

  • High stress, prolonged busyness, and burnout can leave the body feeling depleted, wired, or flat — often all at once. Many people reach out when rest alone no longer feels restorative, or when their nervous system feels stuck in overdrive.

  •

  • Acupuncture offers a quiet, non-verbal way to support the body during these times.

Acupuncture may be used to support overall wellbeing and balance during these phases. Sessions are always tailored to where you are at, what your body is asking for, and what feels appropriate for you at that time.

How acupuncture may support you

Sessions may support:

  • Settling and regulating the nervous system

  • Supporting energy levels during recovery periods

  • Creating space for rest and recalibration

  • Gently addressing stress-related physical or emotional symptoms

Treatment is always paced carefully. There is no pushing, fixing, or forcing — only support.

Looking at the bigger picture

Alongside acupuncture, we may explore:

  • Current stress levels and demands

  • Patterns of busyness and rest

  • Self-care that actually fits your life

  • What your body is signalling it needs right now

From here, we can co-create a realistic plan for recovery and forward movement, based on listening to your body rather than overriding it.
