Perimenopause & Menopause

Navigating change with clarity, care, and support

Who this is for

This support may be helpful if you are:

  • In perimenopause or menopause and noticing changes in energy, sleep, or mood

  • Wanting support that acknowledges both body and lifestyle factors

  • Feeling under-supported or unsure how to move forward during this transition

  • Looking for care that is evidence-informed, collaborative, and realistic

  • Perimenopause and menopause are natural life transitions, but that doesn’t mean they have to be endured without support. These stages often bring shifts in energy, sleep, mood, and physical comfort — and many women feel under-informed or unheard as they move through them.

  •

  • My role is to walk alongside you during this transition, offering support that is grounded, practical, and responsive to your individual experience.

Acupuncture may be used to support overall wellbeing and balance during these phases. Sessions are always tailored to where you are at, what your body is asking for, and what feels appropriate for you at that time.

How I work with women during this stage

Acupuncture sessions may support overall wellbeing during perimenopause and menopause, including:

  • Hot flushes and temperature changes

  • Sleep disturbances

  • Fatigue or low energy

  • Mood changes or emotional lability

  • General feelings of imbalance or depletion

Depending on your needs, support may look like:

  • Acupuncture-focused sessions addressing current symptoms and supporting overall balance

  • A combined approach that includes elements of coaching and lifestyle support

A collaborative, evidence-informed approach

Where appropriate, sessions may include discussion around:

  • Nutrition and protein intake

  • Strength training and movement

  • Rest and recovery rhythms

  • Stress load and nervous system demands

My work in this area is informed by the research and clinical insights of Stacy Sims, Vonda Wright, and Mary Claire Haver, alongside over a decade of clinical experience. Any lifestyle conversations are collaborative — not prescriptive — and designed to empower you with understanding, not overwhelm.

Together, we co-create a plan that feels realistic, supportive, and aligned with your life.
