During Lockdown

Kia Ora!

Just a quick check in to see how you're all doing and let you know about the changes to how clinic is running during lock down.

At level three I can offer video consults. In a video consult we can still go through your case history and get a thorough understanding of what's going on for you.

Diagnosis remains the same, though we won't be using pulse taking at this time. The big changes are when it comes to treatment. At level three, instead of face to face table time I will talk you through how to administer acupressure on yourself to manage your condition, and can also offer qigong prescriptions.

Qigong is a series of gentle exercises with associated breathing patterns that help to build energy and rebalance your body. They can be done in as little as five minutes a day and when performed regularly leave you feeling more energised and in a better mood for your day. I can create individual sequences for your specific constitution and condition to practice at home.

Face to face appointments will begin again from level two onward. There will be some small changes to how clinic runs during this time and I will update you on those changes when we're transitioning into level two.

In the mean time, I am offering free online qigong classes weekday mornings. The sessions last for 40 minutes and are a great way to start your day on the right foot mentally, energetically, and physically.

For more information on this check out the events page.

Please don't hesitate to get in touch and let me know how you're getting on. Many of us, myself included, have been riding the corona coaster during isolation. Some days are productive and happy and we feel like we can take on the world, other days we are lucky if we get out of our pj's at all.

All of this is normal and part of the current crazy we find ourselves navigating. But please do reach out if you need help or even just a chat. It's important to stay connected and be mindful of where you're at and how you're feeling.

Drop me a line! I'd love to hear from you.
